WBSC Mens U23 Softball World Cup, Parana, Argentina October 22-30
Softball NZ is awaiting further information from WBSC on this pinnacle event. Communication includes dialogue with Sport NZ and MBIE as to international travel guidelines for this October event. Softball NZ are working alongside Major Sox management on the matter and more formal communication can be expected as information comes to hand.

Softball NZ will be hosting an International Federation Warm-Up series at Colquhoun Park, Palmerston North, November 18-20.
5 of 12 Federations have so far qualified for the WBSC Mens Softball World Cup and Softball NZ has received expressions of interest from 6 Federations wishing to compete at the event.
The 5 qualified teams are Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, New Zealand, and South Africa. Further qualifying nations from Americas (4) Asia (2) and a Wildcard will be announced by WBSC in due course.

2022 WBSC Mens Softball World November 26 – December 4, Rosedale Park, Auckland. Softball 2021 Limited are the Local Organising Committee for the World Cup with appointed Co-Chairs in Fay Freeman and Bob Leveloff.
Softball NZ are jointly partnering North Harbour Softball Association for the event.

Aussie Spirt Series, December 8-18 – Sydney (TBC).
Australia Green, Australia Gold, Chinese Taipei and New Zealand. Expressions of Interest are being worked through with Softball Australia. Communication with White Sox management and their senior leadership group are continuing.
