GAME SCHEDULE - KIDS RUN THE BASES

Friday	5pm	After the Japan vs GH Black Sox Game
Saturday	7:15pm	After the Australia vs Black Sox B Game
Sunday	12:15pm	After the GH Black Sox vs Black Sox B Game

Future Sox kids ages 5 to 12 are invited onto the field after the game to run the bases just like the Golden Homes Black Sox. Some goodies will be available to all runners who take part.

Who is allowed to run the bases?

Run the Bases is open to kids ages 5-12. For the safety of the participants, parents and older siblings are not allowed to accompany runners to the field. Softball NZ will have some adults to assist on the diamond.

When does the running begin?

Once the game has ended and the teams have cleared the dugouts.

How long does the running last?

There is a time limit of 5 minutes for kids to run the bases.

Where do kids line up for the event?

Running must start from home plate with the older children starting first and the youngest last to avoid any collisions.

Where do kids enter and exit the field?

Entry and exit to the field will be the gate after the first base dugout near first base.

NB: Please note that the running of the bases maybe restricted if games are behind schedule or there are weather issues.

Future Sox will have the opportunity to stand next to the Golden Homes Black Sox players for the singing of the National Anthem and be on SKY Sports TV. In addition a photographer will be taking photos to be uploaded onto the Softball NZ Flickr website, these will be available for download.

NB: If parents do not wish for their children's photos to be taken and uploaded to the Softball NZ Flickr page please do not allow them onto the field.

HANGOUT WITH STRIKER

DO YOU HAVE THE GOLDEN ARM?

Come hangout with the Striker our Softball Mascot! He will be floating around ELE Stadium and available for some photos.

The Jack Links Sasquatch will be at the park too and giving out some free Jack Links samples. Come meet Sasquatch along with the Golden Homes Black Sox at 5:30 – 6:10pm on Saturday night.
