The Under 17 Boys and Girls tournaments have been staged since 1981 and 1983 respectively. The Auckland Boy's team has won 9 titles closely followed by Wellington with 6 titles.
For the U17 Girls Auckland once again lead the title race with 11 championships. Wellington (6) and Hutt Valley (5) lead the chasing group.
