Joanne Harris

Joanne’s commitment and love of the game is second to none. She works tirelessly for The Papanui Softball Club in many different roles any one of which is a magnificent effort.

Regarding Fund Raising - Joanne Runs Housie Tuesday & Friday night’s 48 weeks of the year. She has been doing this for the past 8 years. She has helped raise over $80,000 in the past 12 months & over $500,000 in the past 8 years, which has been distributed to players from Papanui Softball Club whom achieve Canterbury, and New Zealand national honours, as well as supporting the junior club via uniforms and logistics.

Joanne’s fundraising efforts have helped the Papanui Premier Men’s Team attend Vic Guth, PK, and the National Club Championships where Papanui finished runner-up.

Jo is on the Papanui Softball Club Committee and was the Senior Club Captain last season and has been on the committee for the past 10 years.
