Karla Browning

Karla Browning is the backbone of Otago Softball.

She runs everything from development programs, tournament organisation, funding applications, negotiations with council & everything in between. She was then voted in as president for the 2022/2023 season, but her commitment goes way beyond those duties.

With Karla involved, Otago Softball Association has changed in the positive. From new branding at the home of Otago softball, new uniforms for representative teams, a part-time facilities manager appointment and revenue generation via commercial partnerships.

Since OSA moved to its new grounds, Karla has been working hard behind the scenes with Dunedin City Council to create a brand-new diamond. This has been a robust process around sign off for this diamond and Karla has been part of it every step of the way.

Karla is a pillar of strength for our association, and we would not be attracting the success we are today without wonderful volunteers like her.
