Nicky Ogier

Nicola is a Level Seven Softball New Zealand Umpire from Canterbury and a long serving member of the World Baseball Softball Confederation programme. Nicola has had an outstanding season with some notably strong performances on the domestic, regional, and national platforms. Her accolades include appointments to the NFC Women’s final, the Fastball 45 Women’s final and the Women’s Open Clubs final; the ‘Triple-Crown’ in umpiring.

Nicola’s umpiring experience spans well over 40 years. She has a passion for the rules and has been a strong leader and contributor in this space for the Softball New Zealand umpiring programme. With her recent appointment as Deputy Director for Softball New Zealand, the softball community can be assured that when it comes to the application of the rules, there is no one better to have on the team, than Nicola.
