Tracee Topia

SNZ AWARDS - 8-202

Tracee started her journey with scoring in 2005, sitting her theory exam and becoming a Level 4 badge holder in 2009 and progressing through to Level 7 by 2024. Currently, she has been working on getting accreditation for the WBSC, while continuing her Scoring appointments at National tournaments and with the New Zealand Black Sox team.

She has held the roles of Chief Scorer, Statistician and Official at National Tournaments, and as an IT Scorer for the National Fastpitch Championships. Tracee was a team scorer for the Auckland NFC team, the Under 19 Junior Black Sox in 2019, an official scorer for WBSC at the Men’s World Series in 2022, was on the SNZ Scorers panel in 2022, and was the Team Scorer for the NZ Black Sox WBSC Qualifier in Pago Pago 2023.

Tracee is very dedicated to her role, and has been proactive in instigating new initiatives to get the scoring community recognised. She is well respected by players, administrators and other officials within the game and is a very deserving winner of the SNZ Scorer of the Year award for 2024.
